MUMBAI: Office-goers on the Central line were stranded during peak hours on Thursday as rail services stood disrupted between Kalyan and CST for over two hours.

According to Central Railway spokesman, the services was affected as a 'pentograph' of a local train bound for CST was damaged following which services on both the slow and fast lines were disrupted from 9.45 am.

However, the rail service was restored by around 11.30 am, the spokesman added.
