Arguments on the quantum of sentence will be heard on September 8
The Special Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (TADA) court, presided over by judge Govind Sanap, on Friday convicted Riyaz Siddiqui in the 1995 Pradeep Jain murder case.
The court held Siddhique guilty under charges of hatching a conspiracy. Arguments on the quantum of sentence will be heard on September 8.
Siddhique was booked in the murder case of Jain, a city-based builder who was shot outside his Juhu bungalow on March 7, 1995.
After his arrest, Riyaz became an approver in the case, only to deny his and gangster Abu Salem’s roles in the case later.
