Pune division has registered a pass percentage of 80.39 per cent to emerge as the topper among the eight divisions in the state in the March-2011 SSC examination results declared here today.From about 2.5 lakh students, who appeared for the exam in Pune division, girls put up a better performance with 87.08 pass per cent as against the 84.92 per cent registered by boys.With 83.97 per cent, Ahmednagar district registered maximum pass percentage in the division.Apart from Pune, the other seven divisions of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education include: Kolhapur, Latur, Nashik, Mumbai, Amravati, Nagpur and Aurangabad.
