Special drive to register voters on Sunday

Though the special drive was conducted on Sunday for new voters to enrol none of the election office staff was having Form 6, Application for inclusion of name in electoral roll, to distribute to new voters at Sterling College booth. They made the new voters run around for Form six. Why was Form six not kept at the booth for the new voters to enrol when the special drive was arranged exclusively for new registration? I also read in newspaper that Aadhar Card will not be considered as address proof whereas it is mentioned that postal department's mail/letter received in the applicants name at the given address is a valid address proof.

Let me state that even Aadhar Card also is received/delivered by the postal department then why cannot it be considered as an address proof ? This is so silly as no value given to the aadhar card even though it is delivered through the postal department. Why such a confusion and I do not understand where this aadhar card can be used? Voters ID cards not received by many even after several follow-ups. It is mere wastage of public money as nothing has been done properly by the Election Commission so far. I request the Election Commission staff to work seriously and deliver the Voter ID Cards without any mistakes as the election date is fast approaching.
