Shiv Sena leader shot at Mira road, critical
Chavan suffered a bullet injury and has been admitted at a hospital for treatment and we suspect personal rivalry behind the attack, said a Kashimira official.
On Tuesday evening a Shiv Sena leader was shot at Kashimira in Mira Road and has been declared critical. The unknown assailant fired two rounds on him.
Anil Chavan was at Janta Nagar vicinity near Kashimira when an unknown assailant fired two rounds on him and fled. Chavan has been admitted at Bhaktivedanta Hospital for treatment and has been declared critical.
"Chavan suffered a bullet injury and has been admitted at a hospital for treatment and we suspect personal rivalry behind the attack," said a Kashimira official.
"We will register a case after taking down the statement of the victim when he is stable," said the official.
