Convicted Bollywood actor Shiney Ahuja was on Monday allowed by the Bombay High Court to travel to Dubai to promote his forthcoming film Ghost after furnishing an additional surety of Rs25,000 before the sessions court. Also, Justice RC Chavan also directed the Oshiwara police to release Ahuja’s passport for his travel purpose.

Out on bail, Ahuja, plays the lead actor in Ghost, a directorial debut of Pooja Bedi. The movie will be premiered in Dubai on Dec 14 and released two days later.

Ahuja’s plea before the court read: “Since the applicant is the lead actor of the movie, he has to attend the premier and promotional events in Dubai.”
