“We are yet to decide on a date, but by June end, BEST and autorickshaws unions will begin an agitation against traffic congestion. The HC recently ignored the basic reason for the congestion. There are at least 500 new vehicles on the roads each day. The need of the hour is to promote public transport by strengthening it, and making it pro-people,” said auto union leader Sharad Rao.
