For Sevenraj, a seventh child, life is not just black and white. There are no grey areas either. For the Bangalore realtor, life is all about red and white.

Everything right from his house door to the toilet, all gadgets and home appliances are a combination of red and white. Well, if the fridge is grey, it cannot belong to Sevenraj. Despite the dominance of just one colour, red, the Red and White family is clearly in the pink of health with a palatial house and a red and white Scorpio and the neighbour can turn green with envy for all they care.

Sevenraj's favourite dress, needless to say, is a red tie on a white shirt. His wife and children have not been given the option of choosing any other colour.

Says his wife Pushpa: "Eighteen years ago, when I got married, it was something new for me. Later on, I understood the craze of my husband and stood by him. Whenever I am with him, I wear red and white colour combinations."

His son Bharathraj also has got used to the drill. "While I joined school at Red House, the school uniform was red and white. Now, I am in PUC and, most of the time, I still prefer to wear the same," Bharathraj said.

Sevenraj's manic obsession does not end with red and white, for which he is always ready to fight. His other obsession is the number 7. He has embroided a crown symbol and number 7 on all his suits and shirts. Even this crown has seven stars on it.
His mobile number ends with 7777. His first mobile number ended with the number 007. His blazer has 7 buttons and he speaks 7 languages, including Kannada, English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Marathi and his own mother tongue Malayalam.

He wants every one want to recognise him by the red and white he flaunts. "MGR was recognised by his famous dark glasses and white cap and Mahatma Gandhi is recognised by his glasses with bare torso with a white towel. So I had to do something similar to be recognised by one and all," he said.

Sevenraj says,"My father named me as Sevenraj and I belong to a spiritual family, where we use to wear only white colour dress. To add some colour, I altered it with red.."

As a realtor, Sevenraj is well known and is doing good business and so he can proudly say that he has earned his colours.
