With the fifth edition of dna iCan Women's Half Marathon less than 10 days away, registrations have been pouring in. dna got in touch with some of the runners, one of them being Bandra resident Rachna Nayyar, who is running her second marathon.

Nayyar had participated in the 10-kilometre race two years ago. "I am not a fitness enthusiast, but I enjoy running," she said.

She also admitted that she's not as fit as she was two years ago. "I'm participating just to have fun. Two years ago, I ran alone, but this time I'm walking/running with a friend who has also registered," she added.

Although she is not a regular runner, Nayyar said it's an activity that makes her happy. "Running is a great way to relax and gather your thoughts. Also, I have a lot of fun when I participate in a 10km race," she said.

When asked about her experience with the dna iCan Marathon of 2014, Nayyar said she enjoyed it to the fullest. "I have participated in other 10km races, but this one is a lot more fun because of the events that precede and follow the run," she added.
