The RCF Police on Tuesday registered a case of rioting against seven to eight people for allegedly threatening locals and damaging around 30 vehicles at Ramtegadi Gurudware road in Chembur.According to RCF police, at around 4 pm a scuffle took place between one Tejas Pinto (25) and Rahul Kanojia over a trivial issue. However, Pinto called his men for aide and in no time around 7-8 men came to the spot with swords and bamboo sticks and started threatening locals. The unidentified men allegedly went around damaging seven taxis, 12 auto-rickshaws, and seven other vehicles and later escaped.A resident alerted the police. A case of rioting and unlawful assembly has been registered against the 7-8 men based on the complaint of Dinesh Kharde (36). The RCF police have detained four accused and have launched a manhunt for the others.
