With fewer plots available in the satellite city and with real estate projects in most nodes reaching a saturation level, city developers believe that Cidco should develop the Navi Mumbai Airport Influence Notified Area (NAINA), to initiate residential constructions here.“The boundaries of Navi Mumbai that had been till Panvel so far, has now reached Khopoli and Karjat. Several developers have purchased land here, and are waiting for the planning agency to carry out development,” said Credai-BANM board of management president, Devang Trivedi. The state government appointed Cidco as the special planning authority for villages coming under NAINA.Another developer said, “Flats are available from Rs12 lakh in this area. If the infrastructure is developed,  it will attract more people here.”The development in this area will be done without disturbing the existing facilities. The areas to be planned by Cidco mainly fall in Panvel, Pen, Uran, Karjat and Khalapur talukas of the Raigad district. While Cidco will only be planning the infrastructure, implementing the plans will be the responsibility of the local self-government bodies.Eyeing NAINAWith fewer plots available in the satellite city and with real estate projects in most nodes reaching a saturation level, city developers believe that Cidco should develop the Navi Mumbai Airport Influence Notified Area (NAINA), to initiate residential constructions hereThe areas to be planned by Cidco mainly fall in Panvel, Pen, Uran, Karjat and Khalapur talukas of the Raigad district.
