For the sixth time in a row, Jenna along with over 100 other women will be running the 2017 marathon. This year's theme — 'I run for myself' aims to empower women.

Jenna, in the past marathons, has actively participated and spread awareness about breast cancer. Speaking about her participation for the 2017 marathon, Jenna, said, "I have always been compassionate about the marathon.

Every year I encourage other women to participate in the run and support various causes. I feel privileged to be a part of the marathon and I am looking forward to include as many participants as possible to spread awareness about breast and cervical cancer and be part of the cause. I believe together we can definitely make a difference."

The initiative aims to empower city-based women to come together and to spread awareness about breast and cervical cancer.

Jenna, added, "I have approached many women to participate through social media platforms and received a good response so far. I run to spread awareness and also to educate people about the importance of the girl child. The marathon run instills a feeling of satisfaction and confidence."
