Rape complaint filed against Naval Officer in Mumbai
The woman filed a complaint with Naval command as well as the Mumbai police.
A woman has reportedly filed a case of rape against a Naval officer on Thursday. The officer is Lieutenant Commander in the Naval forces in Mumbai, according to reports.
The woman filed a complaint with Naval command as well as the Mumbai police.
As a result the Navy and the Mumbai police are carrying out separate inquiries into the matter.
There have also been reports that suggest that this may be a case of a relationship gone sour.
Reportedly, the Navy Chief Admiral RK Dhowan has also said that the report is awaited and "necessary action will be taken" immediately after that.
