BJP president Rajnath Singh today met Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray, who is undergoing treatment at suburban Lilavati hospital here. Singh enquired about health of Thackeray and was with him for 20 minutes, BJP sources said. Party state president Nitin Gadkari was also present.
Singh discussed Sena-BJP alliance for the state Assembly elections, with the Sena chief, the sources said. Earlier, at a press conference here, Singh said the alliance would contest the state elections and 'preliminary talks' have already started between the saffron partners.
