Pune swine flu victim hailed from Manipur
The victim's brother Nanda who shared a room with him also developed symptoms of swine flu but tested negative and returned to Imphal to perform the last rites of his brother.
The swine flu victim identified as S Bikramjit, who died at a private hospital in Pune recently, hailed from Manipur, family sources said on Tuesday.
Sources said Bikramjit (29) who died of swine flu at Sahon Hospital at Pune on August 20, tested positive of H1N1 virus. But it was too late to save him, the family members said.
Bikramjit was a senior supervisor of Aditya Birla Company at Pune, family members said.
