Pune metro: BJP leader raises concern
'We are all for the project, but the manner in which the Pune Municipal Corporation [PMC] and the NCP leadership is going about it, leaves a lot to be desired,' senior BJP spokesperson Prakash Javadekar said.
Senior BJP spokesperson Prakash Javadekar expressed concern over the manner in which developments related to the Pune metro project are taking place. “We are all for the project, but the manner in which the Pune Municipal Corporation [PMC] and the NCP leadership is going about it, leaves a lot to be desired,” he told reporters here.Javadekar said that the NCP does talk of holding broad-based all-party consultations and is hurrying through various decisions at the PMC level.
