Pune civic body invites applications for scholarship
The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) on Friday invited applications from meritorious students of standards X and XII for its scholarship scheme, under which Rs15,000 and Rs25,000 is awarded to each student of standards X and XII respectively.

According to deputy municipal commissioner Dyaneshwar Molak, the civic body has been implementing the scholarship scheme for the last three years.
A budgetary provision has been made for giving scholarships to students of standards X and XII who live in PMC limits and have secured more than 80% marks in their last examination. Applications for the scheme are available at all regional ward offices and office of corporators.
Interested students can download forms from the PMC’s website www.punecorporation.org. The applications have to be submitted at the office of urban community development department (UCD) at the PMC building, Shivajinagar, before August 16.
