When the actor-turned-politician led her rally in the morning from Malad market, a few onlookers standing at the shops in the market started chanting Modi Modi…. However, Matondkar kept her calm and kept waiving her hands showing thumbs up to the crowd.

BJP candidate Gopal Shetty said that while candidates have the right to campaign, the public has the right to express themselves. He said that if some people chant Modi Modi, it was wrong on the part of Congress workers to beat them up. The BJP has approached Election Commission and police to investigate in this matter.
