They sought details about the proposals on transport, water, drainage and garbage awaiting the state government’s nod during a meeting with Pune municipal commissioner Mahesh Pathak on Monday.

MLA Vinayak Nimhan told DNA, “It is important to speed up the process. We have asked the administration to provide us with documents and details so that we can pursue the matter.”

It was decided that the commissioner will hold another meeting with the MLAs to decide the future course of action. The MLAs stated that a permanent officer should be appointed to follow up the pending proposals. “The officer will keep an update and pursue the proposals with the state government department concerned,” said Nimhan.
