Non-state boards such as the CBSE have not yet submitted details about students to the Maharashtra Knowledge Corporation Limited.

“We need these details to start the website. A letter was sent to all boards to submit the details by March 30, but the CBSE board is yet to give us the information. This might delay the opening of the website,” an education officer said.

“It appears that the online admissions might be delayed this year too. The department has not yet followed all the committee recommendations. A panel was supposed to be set up to monitor allocation of seats by colleges, but even that has not been appointed to date,” said TA Shivare, member of the online review committee set up by the state. The panel gave recommendations to ensure glitch-free admissions this year.
