All set to hold the upcoming examination, Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) sends the hall tickets of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) students to all city colleges today. While the total number of students appearing for the HSC board this year is 3,18,389. The number of students from disabled category have gone up this year compare to last year.All set to conduct board examination, the state board have sent hall tickets of HSC students today to all the city colleges. While this year the total number of students appearing are 3,18,389 in total. The students appearing from learning disability category are more with 932 in number this year compare to last year that were 908. In blind category while the number of students appearing are 255, the number of these students last year were just 123.The total number of students from handicap category which were 1535 in number last year have increased to 1736 this year in registration. This includes blind, deaf and mute, spastics, handicap and learning disability.Laxmikant Pandey, Chairman, Mumbai division, said, "Since the number of students appearing for board examination is more compare to other regions, we tried to bring hall tickets as early as possible and today it has been distributed in all the colleges for students. The number of handicap category students appearing for board exam has increased this year and the reason could be awareness and encouragement coming from the society to these children. The board concession could also be one of the reason that is helping these students to take exams."
