State-owned discom Mahavitaran on Thursday launched a new application for its various consumer services like bill payment and registering consumer queries and complaints with call centres through mobile phones.

The app enables the consumer to view and pay their electricity bills on their mobile phones by entering credit/debit card details or by using Net-banking. Apart from this, consumers can also register their complaints through this application, which can be downloaded from www.mahadiscom.in or from the Google Play Store. The user has to register on this app only once.

Consumers can also avail themselves of the 'Click to Call' feature of this app which directly connects to the customer care toll-free no. 1800-233-3435/1800-200-3435. The user can provide feedback in case of any query or give suggestions regarding this app, using the feedback option.
