A group of around 100 armed Naxalites this morning stormed Halewara village, about 350km from Nagpur, entered the house of Preeti Godshelwar and burnt it down.
A day after the visit of home minister to Gadchiroli, Naxals today set afire the residence of a local NCP leader in the district, police said.

Godshelwar is chairperson of health committee of Gadchiroli zilla parishad. Godshelkar and her husband, Srinivas, were not present at the house during the incident, police said.
The Maoists had kidnapped Srinivas from his Halewara residence in July this year. He was later released.
Meanwhile, a joint team of Gondia and Chandrapur police raided Mul and Pathri villages in Chandrapur district and detained two suspected Naxals.
The team recovered Rs3.50 lakh and Naxal pamphlets from the duo, police sources said. The raid was carried out after gathering information from the five Naxals from Gondia district arrested two days ago, they added.
