While the debate over renaming the Dadar railway station in Mumbai to Chaityabhoomi continues, RPI leader Ramdas Athawale today made an appeal to rename the Mumbai Central railway station after Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar.Athawale was talking to reporters here today after RPI's two-day state-level executive committee meeting.Last month, NCP had demanded that the Dadar railway station in Mumbai be renamed as 'Chaityabhoomi station' after the nearby memorial of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar by the same name. Athawale also said that final decision regarding a formal alliance with the Shiv Sena will be declared by October this year after party's meetings in Solapur, Nagpur and Amravati. "The Shivshakti-Bhimshakti alliance should remain at local level and should not mean for assembly elections," he said adding that the seat adjustment will be solved later on. The RPI leader also said that RPI is standing firm behind social activist Anna Hazare to amend the Jan Lokpal Bill.
