The Nahar Group and Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO) plan to organise cleaniness drive in different parts of the city. As part of their Swachhata Abhiyaan, they cleaned up Sarvodaya Nagar in Mulund on Sunday. The drive started at 9am and continued till 1pm. In the process, a of 9.5km stretch was cleaned.

Lead by Sukhraj Nahar, chairman, JITO and Nahar Group, the cleanliness drive was carried out in the presence of well-known Bollywood celebrities, policymakers, bureaucrats and 2,000 people at Mulund.

The drive was supported by BMC. Additional municipal commissioner Sanjay Deshmukh was the chief guest of the event. MP Kirit Somaiya, MLA Sardar Tara Singh were the guests of honour. Mulund Corporator Manoj Kotak and celebrities like Manisha Koirala, Mahima Choudhary, Gulshan Grover, Shailesh Lodha, Pankaj Dheer along with his son Nikitin Dheer, members of JITO and employees of Nahar Group enthusiastically participated in the event. Mr Tejraj Gulecha, Chairman, JITO, All India, Mr Shantilal Kawad, Past President, JITO were also present on the occasion.
