"This is an attempt to reform them. We have seen that some of them want to live a good life. Through this programme, they will understand how to deal with difficult situations in life and learn to live better in the outside world, too. We often conduct such activities," said Singh.

Consulting homeopath Dr Rahul Joshi of the Music Clinic conducted the programme, 'Sangeet Se Swasthya', and discussed the seven essential stimulations for life. The inmates participated eagerly and were enthusiastic throughout the programme.

"We are all born with a pure soul and music helps a lot to rediscover it. Everyone needs love and opportunity to lead a better life. It is necessary for the inmates to go out and live well. Music can help this transformation."

Joshi also spoke about other necessary aspects of life, like optimism, hope and love. He urged the inmates to be good citizens in their future lives. The one-and-a-half-hour programme was attended by some police officials, too.
