Around 20 underprivileged children will showcase their talents at Mitti Ke Sitare, a talent hunt programme on Wednesday. The show, presented by Divyanj Foundation in association with Mpower, aims to give a voice to the underprivileged kids.

The programme is the brainchild of Amruta Fadnavis, social activist and vice-president (Corporate Head), Axis Bank, and the wife of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Its idea is to reach out to the marginalised sections of society, engage and empower them, and enable a positive change in their lives.

In all, 1,1187 civic-run schools participated in the preliminary trials. They received over 2,500 participants, of whom 600 were selected for two rounds of auditions. The final will be held in June, and many stalwarts from the music industry will be present for it.
