First, the papers scheduled for March 21 were postponed to April 5. A few days later, the papers scheduled for March 28 were also postponed due to the election duties assigned to teachers.

"As per the rescheduled time table, chemistry students will have the dyes and organic chemistry papers on April 5. Physics students also have two papers on the same day," said an aggrieved student.

The clash has left students worried about which paper to prepare for. "We have absolutely no clue which paper will finally be scheduled for April 5. This will affect our preparation and our performance," said another student.

"It's being sorted out. A revised schedule will be released by Wednesday. It will be uploaded on the university website," said Padma Deshmukh, controller of examinations.
