Students in the city are using international internship opportunities in the areas of Sales,Operations, HR, Finance, Digital Marketing, NGOs and Start-ups for self improvement and exposure during their vacations.

Organisations promoting these internships focus on leadership development and cultural exchange through these opportunities.

Drishti Sajnani,who started with her SEAL (Systematically Enhancing Ability of Leadership) course, recently did her internship in Italy. Dhristi is a Commerce student from the city's HR college. " Sajnani was selected in the SEAL RIPPED Programme where she cleared her targets like team management, leadership skills and won the international internship to Italy in the city named Palermo where her work was to teach country students about Indian culture during the Diwali vacation," said Abhishek Raghunath, Co Founder of SEAL.

"We get a lot of students who indulge themselves in this course, currently there are 4 students from Bayside Media SEAL who are doing their international internships; we send 12 students in a year for the international internship," said Raghunath.

Just like Dhristi, Siya Archik, a graduate from St Xavier's also bagged an international internship through AIESEC in Mumbai. " AIESEC is giving the youth a platform to explore opportunities across the globe and understand how international internships work," said Krishnav Roy, President of AIESEC,Mumbai.
