Jagesh Golwala (21) is currently pursuing Electronic Engineering from IIT Bombay and in his final year. He was kind of expecting a good score after seeing the answer keys but a 100 percentile was a different feeling. With both parents doctors, the family initially expected Jagesh to steer towards medical but number crunching was always this boy's first love. "Some reason biology never interested me and upon that even my older brother took up engineering so, yes none of us took up after our parents," Jagesh sighed.

This was Jagesh 's first attempt at CAT and what a way to start the MBA journey.

Raunak Mazumdar, another 100 percentiler attempted CAT second time this year. Last year, he secured 99.89 but that did not excite Him.

"I wanted to study in either of the top three IIMs and I was not able to convert IIMC which is why I thought it was better to take another attempt," said Raunak.

This Thane lad currently works for a bank in Gurugram and is extremely happy at his job too. It was his happy state of affairs that helped Raunak plan his CAT prep well.

A TIME student, Raunak took mock tests from the institute and spent much of his other time prepare on his own.

Raunak, who is the only child says that his parents have played a very major role in his victory. "My parents told me to go ahead and provided me with whatever I needed. It is because of them I got so far, he said.

Raunak is now waiting and hoping that unlike last year the top three IIMs keep their doors wide open for him.
