A minor fire broke out at the Mantralaya in South Mumbai on Monday evening. According to fire brigade officer, the fire started in the server room of Mantralaya and was doused immediately.

The officer claimed there was no damage and casualty in the fire. A possible short circuit is said to be cause of the fire as per preliminary reports.

Three people had died and 15 were injured in a fire that raged through the top four floors of the eight-storey Mantralaya, in June 2012, forcing complete renovation of the building.
