Maharashtra Youth Congress released its manifesto on Saturday promising the free education, Rs 5,000 allowance for unemployed youth and waiving off the education loan that was availed till September 30, 2019.

Youth Congress had decided to have its own and separate manifesto. "In this country, the youths are in large numbers but no proper attentions has been paid towards their problems. Therefore, we had decided to have our separate manifesto," said Satyajeet Tambe, president of Maharashtra Youth Congress party. "We had invited the suggestions across the state under the Wake Up Maharashtra banner. And, out of these suggestions, we have included the prominent suggestion in our manifesto. That will be brought in effect within the three months after our government coming to power," Tambe added.

He said that over three crore youth got connected to this platform via various online and offline activities like Stick Your Voice, Yuva Samwad, Krida Samwad, Shahir Competition, Tik Talk Contest, Main Bhi Nayak…CM for a day and many more. The manifesto also promised employment for the unemployed and jobless youth will get an allowance of Rs 5,000 per month. It also stresses on health and life style.
