The state government has said that it will be coming out with a 'Rojgaar Yojana Call Centre' service soon, which will give information on various day-to-day services, such as repair works. The legislative council was informed about the same when revenue minister Eknath Khadse was replying to the issues raised during the discussion of governor's address to both houses.

The helpline is directed at providing services particularly in big cities. "The helpline will give details and contact information of skilled workers like electricians and plumbers," said Khadse.

"For example, in villages there is a dedicated place or centre where one can go and look for workers for farming. Along those lines, this helpline will be a one-stop spot where people can call for getting certain works done."

"The idea is to save time of citizens, give employment to people and provide better services. We expect a good response to this," he added.
