A division bench of Justices Ranjit More and Anuja Prabhudessai was also told that the police was willing to club all the FIRs and quashing complaints against her. Further, the court restrained the police from taking any coercive action against Dalvi.

Dalvi had moved court seeking to quash the complaints registered against her after she reproduced some of the controversial Charlie Hebdo cartoons in Avadhnama in January. She had immediately issued an apology, but caused a public uproar.

The court has set a hearing on April 15 when it will hear arguments on quashing of cases against her.
