LMO comes down hard on 'cheating' petrol pumps in city

The Legal Metrology Organisation (LMO) has cracked the whip on errant petrol pumps in the city that allegedly shortchange customers. The LMO had inspected 1,734 petrol dispensing units across 145 petrol pumps from February 28 to March 28. Of the pumps inspected, two dispensing units were seized, while 41 units have been stopped until they are recalibrated by the LMO.
