The 13th edition of the fest will have semi-classic imported cars & accessories on display
The much awaited 13th edition of DNA Auto show, which will showcase some of the latest and the best in the automotive segment, is all set to kick-start from December 8. The two day event (December 8-9) will be held at Hall No. 2, CIDCO Exhibition Centre in Vashi.
According to the organisers, some of the biggest brands in the car and two-wheeler segments will be displaying their latest products and upgrades for the automotive lovers to see, test drive and even purchase on promotional discount price. Semi-classic imported cars and accessories will also be on display.
DNA Auto show is increasingly gaining popularity among the residents of Mumbai and Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) with the previous editions drawing thousands of footfalls each day, the organisers added.
The Indian automotive industry (including component manufacturing), which is amongst the fastest growing in the world, according to the central government, is estimated to reach Rs 16.16 – 18.18 trillion by the year 2026. It was the 7th largest manufacturer of commercial vehicles in 2017. India is also a prominent auto exporter and has strong export growth expectations for the near future. In order to keep up with the growing demand, several auto makers have started investing heavily in various segments of the industry during the last few months. The industry has attracted Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) worth $19.29 billion during the period April 2000 to June 2018, according to data released by Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP).
More than 25 million automobiles were produced in the country during the Fiscal Year 2017. The spur in growth is primarily attributed to the rise in income, and a booming middle class and young population, claim the industry observers.

"There will be live entertainment and food stalls for a complete family entertainment fiesta while the automobile enthusiasts browse for their favourite set of wheels", added the organisers.
