Kids, experience the joy of giving!

The Joy of Giving Week starting from October 2 will see dna as an active participant. As a part of ‘Good is in our dna’ initiative, dna is collaborating with schools asking students to donate toys, books, stationery, clothes and sports equipment (all in good condition).

A donation box will be placed at participating schools in which the students can drop their gifts, which will be distributed among the underprivileged children.

dna has partnered with two NGOs — Goonj and Desh Seva Samiti. The initiative will impress upon the school students the importance of “learning to give”.

Venkat Krishnan, a volunteer of the Joy of Giving Week, said: “We are delighted to see dna launch the initiative for schools in Mumbai. We’re sure that through this, children will learn to give at an early age and experience the joy of giving.”

Interested schools can send a mail to engage@dnaindia.net with subject ‘Joy of Giving Week’ and share their contact details, number of students and area. dna will contact the school. If individuals want to be a part of the programme, they can sign up as dna ‘Ambassador of Good’. They need to SMS dna good and send it to 575758 and dna will contact them to give more details.
