Kala Virasat, a Banyan tree and IndusInd Bank initiative, will be showcasing a host of Indian classical dancers and musicians in its two day festival starting from today at Nehru Centre. It is a unique effort to put the major art forms together under one umbrella says director of Banyan Tree who conceptualized the festival. Those scheduled to perform include Guru Singhajeet Singh & Charu Sija Mathur (Manipuri), Guru Jaya Rama Rao & Vanashree Rao (Kuchipudi), Bharati Shivaji (Mohiniattam), Shovana Narayan (Kathak). Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia  will perform on the second day of the festival under ‘Milan’.
