Airlines and travel portals are luring cricket enthusiasts with attractive air fares to United Arab Emirates (UAE) for the Indian Premier League (IPL). A few airlines are adding up hotel bookings and local travelling with the fares.

According to travel agents, Gulf Air, Air Arabia, Emirates airline, Jet airways, Etihad airways, Spicejet are some of the airlines offering lower fares.

The first phase of IPL is set to be played in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Dubai between April 16 and 30. The tournament is being played in UAE because of the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.

A Jet airways flight has been offering a discount of about Rs1,000.

My Spice Trip, a travel portal which has tied up with several hotels in the UAE, is offering package deals. A Spicejet airline Rs39,841 York International Special IPL package offers a 3-night stay in a 3-star hotel, including breakfast and transfers.
