IIT-Bombay to hold funding event for start-ups

The Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) of IIT-Bombay has announced an event where shortlisted startups will be given ten minutes to woo a panel of investors to bag a spot-funding of Rs 16 Lakh. The event called ‘The Ten Minute Million’ will be held on 20 January 2019 and the deadline for registration is December 15. 

The event which aims to cut short the tedious task of fundraising will be held as part of the E-Summit, a two-day annual conference which promotes entrepreneurship and business. The Ten Minute Million will involve six shortlisted startups out of all the applicants, pitching for 10 minutes in front of the investor panel and get the on-spot funding commitment for Rs 16 lakhs. 

The investor panel in the past has consisted of renowned angel investors like Ajeet Khurana, Ravi Gururaj,  Kunal Shah, Sunil Kalra, Aniruddha Malpani, Anupam Mittal. The registration deadline is on December 15.
