The Council of Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has informed the heads of city schools that the ICSE and ISC results will be declared between May 17 and 19, quashing rumours that the results will be delayed due to an untoward incident that allegedly occurred during the exams.“The results should be out before May 20. We have already received Internet passwords to access institution-specific results the moment they are declared,” said the principal of a reputed ICSE school in Juhu.

The Maharashtra State Board of Higher and Secondary Education (MSBHSE) has not fixed a date yet. “We will be in a position to announce the dates for the Stds X and XII results soon. For now, Std XII results will be declared in the last week of May and Std X in June,” said Ujwala Patil, chairperson of the state board.

Earlier, rumours that the ISC results may be delayed had been doing the rounds.  According to officials, a bag containing bundles of question papers for 13 subjects had gone missing. The board had cancelled all 13 papers, including theory and practical, and printed a fresh set. The exam schedule had remained unchanged.
