Heavy rains lash suburban Mumbai

Suburban areas of the city today received heavy rains.In the last 24 hours, Colaba received 10.2 mm of rainfall and suburban Santacruz 0.4 mm of rainfall, the Meteorological Department said.However, road, rail and air traffic remained unaffected and no water logging was reported in the city.The department has predicted spell of rains and thundershowers in the city and the suburbs in next 24 hours.
