"Government should not delay his hanging. Kasab was a terrorist and waged war against the Indian state. He should not get the privileges under the Indian law," party BJP spokesperson Tarun Vijay told reporters here.

He demanded that both Kasab and Afzal Guru, convicted in the December 2001 attack on Parliament, should be hanged together.

The spokesman said India should demand extradition of Jamaat-ud-Dawa chief Hafiz Sayeed and Lashkar commander Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi immediately as Kasab was only a small fry.

"Unless his Pakistani masters are punished, we will not feel that justice has been done," he said.

22-year-old Kasab was today awarded capital punishment by a special court for the Mumbai terror attacks saying that keeping such a terrorist alive will be a "lingering danger" to the society and the Indian government.
