In a case filed with the Wagle Estate police station on Friday, robbers attacked a pvt bank and fled with cash and gold jewellery worth Rs42.37 lakh deposited in a locker.

According to the complaint, the incident took place between February 15 and 26. The accused have robbed cash Rs11 lakh and jewellery worth Rs31.37 lakh. The locker belonged to a 55-year-old man working with a private agency. He found that the valuables were missing and lodged a complaint. A case under section 380 of the Indian Penal Code has been registered on an unknown person. Cops are going through the CCTV footage and are also investigating with customers. No arrest has been made so far.
