The 30 bank locker owners are now left in a lurch as the robbers allegedly melted the gold ornaments and the Bank of Baroda has shrugged off the responsibility to compensate the bank locker owners. “The bank has refused to compensate us the losses which took place due to the theft and we have now approached the consumer court and will fight our case,” said Kumar.
