Shiv Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray has urged people to prevent Congress and NCP from coming to power in the municipal corporation here and give Sena-RPI alliance a chance in the February 16 civic polls.Addressing a series of election meetings at Pawan nagar, Satpur and Nashik road last evening, Thackeray asked people to vote for the combine to do away with rising crimes and to ensure a secure developed city.On Congress and NCP leaders, Thackeray said that even after being  partners in the state government, they keep criticising each other.In Nashik, we could not forge an alliance with BJP, but we do not criticise them, he said.RPI National President Ramdas Athawale, Sena MLA Babanrao Gholap and other local leaders were present on the occasion.Athawale also addressed a meeting urging people to give a chance to the combine in Nashik.
