You may well consider blocking your dates for one of the most attended festivals in south Mumbai — The Kala Ghoda Festival. Starting from February 3 till February 11, the festival promises to be better and bigger with “Hara Ghoda” as a theme.

The festival, which has no entry fee, will be open to public from 10 am to 10 pm and will have something for everyone. “KGAF 2018 promises to be all and more than previous festivals. Our aim is to try and increase interactivity, and for the first time we have instituted contests in some verticals, to which we have received a great response. So if there is any work given to us by a budding artiste, we will go through it and put it up. The winners will perform at the festival. Like every year, we will be providing a platform to talent both known and undiscovered,” said Maneck Davar, chairman, Kala Ghoda Association (KGA). He added, “The theme Hara Ghoda was chosen this year after one of our curators suggested it. Since we are already talking about sustainability, message of cleanliness of environment and restoration of old areas of interest and monument, it made sense to have this theme.”
