Ganesh Naik to join BJP?

In a major political development, Thane strongman Ganesh Naik is all set to join the BJP, sources close to the development have revealed. Naik, who contested the recently concluded assembly polls on NCP ticket had to face defeat at the hands of BJP candidate Manda Mhatre, who too had shifted loyalties to BJP few days ahead of elections. Naik's move to join BJP is being dubbed as a calculated move keeping an eye on the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation election where he has a majority. Naik's shifting of loyalties from NCP to BJP is a severe setback for Sharad Pawar-led party in the state.
