Foreigner molested mid-air, Goan held

A 46-year-old man from Goa was arrested on Thursday for allegedly molesting a 22-year-old foreigner on board a Lufthansa flight from San Francisco to Mumbai.

The accused, Marcos Jestino, allegedly touched the woman inappropriately, sparking  chaos mid-air. Jestino refuted the allegation.

Assistant commissioner of police Madhukar Sankhe said that a case of outraging the modesty of a woman has been filed at Sahar police station against Jestino. He was presented in a metropolitian magistrate’s court.

The woman, who has friends here, is here on a tourist visa.
