A major fire was reported from a slum situated near a plush residential complex in northwest Mumbai late Tuesday evening.
MUMBAI: A major fire was reported from a slum situated near a plush residential complex in northwest Mumbai late Tuesday evening.
The fire was reported from near the Hiranandani Gardens complex in Powai at 9.40p.m, fire brigade officials said.
Eight fire engines and four water tankers were rushed to the spot to douse the flames, the officials said adding there have been no initial reports of any casualties.
The exact cause for the blaze has not yet been ascertained.
